FIDES Capital Partners, LLC ("FIDES") announces that it has arranged the mezzanine loan for the construction of a $52 million, 596-bed student housing project at the University of Florida. FIDES served as the financial advisor to one of the country's premier developers of purpose-built student housing. "This was an accomplishment because we were able to identify a mezzanine lender for the new construction of a student housing project, which is not all that easy. In addition, we were able to stretch deep into the capital stack at a cost of capital that was quite accretive to the sponsor." said Greg Longoria of FIDES.
